Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you ship across Australia?

Yes, we ship Australia-wide for our accessories and non-ammunition items. Some items, such as ammunition, may have delivery restrictions depending on your state or territory. We strictly comply with relevant firearms and ammunition sales and transport regulations.

  • Can you ship ammunition?

Yes, we can, but ammunition can only be shipped to customers who provide a current firearms licence and meet all state requirements for the states in which we operate this service; each state has different restrictions. We use approved carriers that specialise in the transport of dangerous goods and are agents of Calibre Club's licence. There are strong regulations on this that we adhere tightly to. No, you're not going to get ammunition delivered by Aussie Post!

  • How long will my order take to arrive?

Most accessory orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days. Delivery times vary by location - generally 3-7 business days for metro areas and slightly longer for rural regions. Ammunition deliveries may take additional time due to compliance checks and delivery requirements, but we aim to get it to you as soon as we can!

  • What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit and debit cards, direct bank transfer, and other secure online payment options. All transactions are processed in Australian dollars (AUD).

  • Can I return ammunition?

For safety and compliance reasons, ammunition cannot be returned or exchanged once it has left our premises. Please double-check your order before completing checkout.

  • What is your return policy for accessories?

If you change your mind, unused accessories in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days for a refund or store credit. Proof of purchase is required.

  • Do I need a firearms licence to buy ammunition?

Yes. Under Australian law, you must hold a current firearms licence that matches the category and calibre of ammunition being purchased. You’ll be asked to provide a copy of your licence when placing an order and also physically be required to show it when we deliver. The licence holder must match the name on the order and on the physical card when we arrive. You cannot have your friend be there to receive the order when we deliver and no order will be fulfilled until you provide a valid, active  licence.

  • Do you sell firearms online?

No. Firearms are highly regulated items and cannot be sold or shipped online. Licensed firearms must be purchased in person through an authorised firearms dealer and transferred in accordance with state and ferderal laws.

  • Are there restrictions on what you can ship?

Yes - each state and territory has different regulations for ammunition, magazines and certain firearm parts. Our system automatically prevents checkout for restricted products based on your shipping address, but we always encourage customers to check their local laws before ordering and check in with us to see if we cover your state.

  • Do you offer bulk or club orders?

Yes! We can arrange bulk pricing for licensed shooting clubs and ranges. Get in touch with our sales team for a custom quote!

  • When will The Viewing Room officially open?

The Viewing Room is currently undergoing a bespoke architectural fit-out to transform the former gallery into a refined coworking environment.

We are targeting an early 2026 opening for founding members, with viewings available from late Q1 2026. Subject to strong uptake by the end of January, the space is expected to be ready shortly after Easter, allowing approximately two months for final fit-out works.
